Serena Williams in the semi-final of America Open 2014

Qualified US tennis player Serena Williams reached the semifinals of the U.S. Open, beating Italian Flavia Penetta.
And succeeded Williams, ranked first in the world, to easily win the Penta, eleventh-seeded, two sets without response by 6-3 and 6-2.

With this win, booked Williams its seat in the semi-finals for the sixth consecutive time in the championship, which is the fourth and the last four major championships (Grand Slam) in the current season.
Williams faces in the next round, Russian Davis Cup, seeded 18 globally, which booked its seat in the semi-finals after beating Belarusian Victoria AFP, seeded 17 globally, with a result of 6-4 and 6-2.
Williams seeks to win the title for the third and sixth respectively in March from the championship on Meadows courts in New York.
Earlier  internationally first win U.S. Open title in 1999, 2002 and 2008 and 2012 and 2013.
As for the second match of the semifinal, confrontation between Danish Caroline, ranked 10th globally, and Chinese Shuai Peng, seeded 39 globally.
